Although, I'm quite disappointed 'cause Zach Condon (Lead-singer and founder) has just announced that he was cancelling all summer festivals... He is overwhelmed with the success the band is having and finds it apparently too difficult to cope with....
Too bad: R.E.M., The Nationals, Mika and Beirrut were on the same day in Werchter. What a great day it would have been...
To get over this sad news: I'm taking some holidays! Na!! Leaving tonight for a sunny place....Youhou!!!...
Usually, when a show is over, you're always frustrated by the end but this one is so powerful, the music choice is pure genius...
The song is called Breathe Me, by Sia.
I love TV-shows and am used to seeing a lot of them but this ending: it just blew me away... I can watch it again and again and never get bored. There's eveyrthing you could ask for in it. And you? What's your favourite moment of TV?
I used to call him "Romain" when we were still working together but his band's name is The Roman Band...
I'm lucky I got to know these people: Xav' from Ruacutane and now Romain. Ok, These are 2 completely different styles of music but like 'em both! Go on his Website, listen to "I'm a PornStar" (love it:-)!) or "It's raining". You'll find out by yourselves...
Would I be completely wrong if I say it sometimes makes me think about something like "The Blues Brothers meets Dag " plus an inch of more agressive roc-thing-y?
Anyway, Romain will be playing again in Brussels end of April, see you there?
