So.. It's been a while.

I'm now settled: back in France and in Lille more exactly. My Belgium period is over. 7 years I've spent there.  These last 2 month have been quite hectic. I couldn't really update this space and I have to admit that there were changes that were not really expected...

New job, new appartment and a new life to start. It will soon be time to start writing a lot more again but for the moment I still don't have an internet connection at home so I guess it will wait a bit.

 I'll tell you about Lille, music and trips and many more things here as I used to do it (at least I'll try). Talking about travelling: I have some Miles to use from the Frequent Flyer program and can go somewhere in Europe for free... Any advice on which city to visit and why?

Steph': Get ready, I'm coming to Vancouver probably before the end of the year :-)

Now that I'm back in France, I'm not so sure about keeping this space "Open" although I've became addicted lately to micro-blogging. You know: Twitter, Plurk, etc...

Yeahhh... I'm "in between jobs"!! I was freed before the end of my notice by my previous employer.. I haven't yet started at the new one. I'm currently enjoying Lille and all the cafés. Better still: the sun is shining...

Looking for an appartment, going to shop for CDs, riding the motorbike... Everything is soooo cool. Just wondering: could I go on like that? Without working at all but still being paid? No? Why???......

Dans la série "Gaffes en vrac": Vendredi, 19.00, je m' apprête à quitter Bruxelles pour rentrer à Lille quand mon téléphone sonne. Je regarde le numéro affiché. Il commence par +32... C'est donc un appel provenant de Belgique.

- Allo?

- Mr Seb. ?

- Euh... voui... (Là, il me semble reconnaître la voix d'une amie)

- Bonsoir, je vous appelle pour vous proposer un entretien.

Et là je me dis: sans se présenter, ni présenter la boite... J'ai pas postulé récemment en Belgique. C'est donc forcément cette copine qui me fait une blague mais je vais jouer le jeu.

- Oui

- Pourrait-on vous voir le plus vite possible?

- (Hé hé) Ce soir, Miss?

- Pardon?

- Euh non rien... (là, j'ai un doute.. elle joue bien le jeu quand même....)

- Mardi prochain?

- Heu.. Je serai en France mardi prochain

- Parfait! Nous sommes basés en France

- (Triomphal) Ha ha!!! Tu t'es trahie, tu m'appelles de Belgique!!! +32 le numéro!!

- Pardon?..... (long blanc)

- .... (Doute énorme: Didiou ce qu'elle joue bien le jeu la vache!!)

- Mardi donc? 16.00, cela vous conviendrait?

- 16.00, très bien.

- Je vous envoie un plan?

- Non ma grande, je sais ou tu habites, je suis venu la semaine dernière pour manger ;-)

- Pardon???

- Euh... oui un plan s'il vous plait.

- Très bien je vous l'envoie lundi par mail

Je raccroche, me disant que si c'etait une vraie invitation, je l'aurais reçue immédiatement par mail la confirmation et pas lundi et que de toutes façons, elle va me rappeler dans 5 mn pour me dire que c'était une blague....

Le temps passe. 1h45 exactement. J'arrive à Lille. Mon téléphone n'a pas resonné. Je suis allé voir sur le site de l'Apec et à part le fait que le numéro de la dernière boite dans laquelle j'avais postulé commence par +33 et pas +32, tout le reste du numéro est identique à celui qui figure dans la liste de mes appels entrant. Put*** de bug d'affichage!!!!! Arggghhhhhhh........

Ce matin: j'avais un mail de confirmation.

Demain, ce sera la première fois que je vais commencer un entretien en allant m'excuser auprès de la secrétaire... Pffff....
